We brought in One of our club's, (and Jimmy Buffett's) favorite bands, Johnny Russler & The Beach Bum Band With their usual flair, Johnny and his entire band, played their way even further into everyone's heart. They Rocked the House................
Moonlight gardens. A New Orleans style pavillion, at Coney Island, Right next door to Riverbend. It was perfect.
Bill Whyte & Amanda Orlando, aka- the morning team on WUBE (105.1) ..... Volunteered their talents, as MC. Bill also, kept us laughing with his comedy & songs............ WUBE gave us a ton of air time and publicity. They helped in more ways than I can list here..
Always a guaranteed Crowd pleaser is Jim Morris & the Big Bamboo Band, as usual they Rocked. !!

Members of the Cincinnati PHC Board and Bill Whyte, our MC for the event presented A Check for $3000.00 to the Make A Wish Foundation at our next meeting.
There would not be any Parrot Head Clubs without the dream of Scott Nickerson, who started the first Parrot Head Club in Atlanta. Scott was our special guest for the evening. He was on stage playing with Johnny Russler & The beach bums for a big part of the night. ( This was a really good beginning to a new musical combo. Scott is featured on the Beach Bum Bands new, soon to be released Cd.)
Although we have had many smaller events and fund raisers, This year when the concert dates were announced. We had received a gift,a Sunday. The coveted weekend day, and on this 20th anniversary, The perfect excuse to have a really Big " party for a purpose," The Where it all Beganniversary, is born...

This anniversary, was the perfect excuse for us to "party with a purpose". When the last Corona was gone, the silent auction had closed, and the Music had stopped. The Cincinnati PHC, with the help of our many generous sponsors, and The Morning team, Bill Whyte and Amanda Orlando and B105 FM , Cinci. PHC was able to present Make a Wish With a check for over $3000.00 .
