Last night Jimmy Buffett officially proclaimed that “ The summer  had officially began ...........here in Arizona.   Where he started The first leg of the 2006 Party at the end of the World Tour. Opening the show  Jimmy was interviewedon Radio Margaritaville by Savannah Jane. On the interview he made a pre-show confession of having too much rum on his boat one night when he indicated his plans for not working (at all) this summer during his phone call with Miles Hampton? But he does plan to spend some time in mid summer with his kids Jimmy also said he will feature an album a night- both showing videos and performing cuts from a different album at each concert. At last night’s concert it was 1994’s  FRUITCAKES. Tomorrow night it will be something different. After showing the Video from Fruitcakes to restart the show at the end of the break. They will all be with him at Jazz fest.
